Inaugural Event Marks Commencement of Construction for Baccarat Residences’ Impressive 75-Story Tower

Last week, a momentous groundbreaking ceremony marked the initiation of construction for Baccarat Residences, as evidenced by a photo shared on social media.
Baccarat Residences is poised to claim the title of Miami’s tallest condominium tower, soaring to a remarkable 75 stories and reaching an impressive height of 848 feet above ground, or 852 feet above sea level. In contrast, the current tallest condominium tower in Miami, the Aston Martin Residences tower, located just down the Miami River, is nearing completion, standing at 66 stories and 816 feet above ground.
A short distance away, the Waldorf Astoria is making strides in its construction efforts, with plans to reach a pinnacle at 1,041 feet above ground. It’s essential to note that this project not only encompasses condominiums but also features a prominent hotel component.
Notably, Miami’s Building Department issued a site work permit for the Baccarat Residences site in September, and a license for complete vertical construction is currently progressing through the review process. The esteemed contractor responsible for the project is John Moriarty.
Adjacent to the Baccarat site, another notable 44-story tower is already in the process of being constructed. This tower is expected to accommodate 506 apartments, further contributing to the evolving skyline of Miami.
